Welcome to Stretton Cricket Club

Stretton Cricket Club is an open club with active sections for both Senior and Junior players.

Whether you have played cricket for more years than you wish to think about, keen to start, or somewhere in between, you will find a warm and friendly welcome at Stretton Cricket Club.

Although firmly based in the surrounding local communities of Stretton, Appleton Thorn, Hatton, Daresbury, Stockton Heath and Appleton, the club draws its membership from all over the Warrington and North Cheshire area.

We have full changing and refreshment facilities available in the Pavilion and it must be said that there can be few more pleasant activities than watching a game of cricket in the sunshine at Stretton CC.

At Stretton CC we take the development of cricket very seriously and have been a ClubMark cricket club for a number of years.  The ClubMark accreditation scheme, developed by the ECB in conjunction with Sport England, demonstrates that Stretton CC is a safe and supportive environment in which players of all ages, but in particular young players, can enjoy playing cricket.

The club runs three Senior Teams and up to four Junior Teams, depending on numbers of players in the different age groups. We play matches mainly at the weekend, but also during the week. Training sessions normally take place on a weekly basis, on a regular day and time for each age group.

Stretton Cricket Club can be found off the A49 London Road towards Warrington from J10 of the M56. For a map and directions please use the Find Us link on the main menu above.
